SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT

            Never could have ever thought that fiction would overpass reality in such extents but at the sight of the development of the last events, definitely we can assure it did. If we were told that a blue TV little bear, with a secondary role in a comedy TV show, can create a political party and become not only the most popular character worldwide but also the most powerful, we would not believe it not even for a second. However here we are, November 2016, in a country whose new president is the most unpopular, racist, homophobic and intolerant person in the history of the presidency of the  United States of America. Sounds harsh, but reality is as it is. 

            Starting as a joke as our little humorous Waldo, Donald Trump was also dismissed on his candidacy. Perhaps that´s why it sounds weirder and weirder each time we think about him as the president for the following four years. We may probably still be on the period of rubbing our eyes each time we see or hear about Donald Trump as the president of the United States. In my personal opinion unless this thought radically changes as a trigger of a much more restrained behavior and mandate, I will be feeling I´m living within a life of fantasy. 

            Both the beginning of Donald Trump on the presidency of the United States and Waldo´s emergence in the British and worldwide society, were seen as an absurd for many. How can a teddy bear get such power within society if it is not even a person? Waldo imitates the movements of a common person, talks as one of us and teases and makes us laugh about the famous personalities. The more humanlike this teddy bear is, the more empathetic and positive feelings human people have towards him. However if it was too humanlike though, like a robot made to pretend to be a human, it would become creepy or even annoying for people. 

            In some sense however, it is not needed to be a product of artificial intelligence which main function is pretending to be like a human person in order to induce us a creepy feeling. To many, Donald Trumps has accomplished it with eases, thanks to his terrifying and disrespectful actions and declarations. Many voters might be against my words but thinking in mid 21st century that women , black people or immigrants, between  some others, are "abnormal" in nowadays society, to me is not a coherent argument for someone who is going to lead this superpower for the following four years.
