The essence of a human mind is reinforced through its unique developmental stages paired with the memories, experience, and knowledge it contains. The body of a human can be cloned, but the personalities and memories of the clone source, the person whose DNA was used, cannot be replicated with current technology. While I believe humans will be able to construct a fully functioning artificial intelligence similar to a human brain, the transfer of data that makes one brain identical to another could be impossible.
Ash two was an artificial intelligence in the form of software accessible through remote servers. He used data in the form of audio, video, and plaintext in order to replicate a human personality. While the physical entity of Ash two was able to be replicated near perfection, the mind of Ash was not. The artificial intelligence was astounding at replicating conversation and basic emotion. However, when the emotional state of Ash two required more than the data provided, his inhuman qualities set in. Although the error may be contained within the split personality of the online personality of Ash versus his actual personality, there was more than one flaw in the software. The software could not replicate a function of the human brain in which hormones were produced based upon one's DNA in order to determine reactions to various situations. This is where the main flaw in Ash two lies.
This is evident when Martha instructs Ash two to jump off the cliff. Ash two has no data to reference, and can only decide on which emotion to implement as a result of Martha's instruction. He has no natural, chemical factor that may determine his reaction. Ash two is a product, one with restrictions and a lack of capabilities that hinder his realistic qualities. The creators of Ash two were not successful in escaping the uncanny valley, but were close.
The producers of Black Mirror provided too much flexibility in regards to the use of online data. Even if the artificial intelligence software was advanced, the data would not suffice as it would be minuscule in comparison to the amount of data our brains experience throughout our lifetimes. While we do place personal information on the Internet, one would not be able to replicate our personalities through it despite its accuracy to our true personalities. I believe it was a cliche grab at the notion that we put too much information about ourselves on the Internet. While it was interesting, much of the episode was far fetched in regards to technological capabilities.

As more and more humanlike what will be the distinguisher. I think you really touch on how Robots might be able to clone humans but will never truly be able to have human form. The idea of things being robots and people not being able to recognize the difference, is definitely a fear for most humans. As technology advances, we as Human will have to be more accepting of Humanoid Robots.
I agree with your perspective. This episode reveals the problems with technological advancement. Technology is innovative, but I believe that it will take the turn to be more unethical in the future and people will put too much of their life into and surrounding technology to the point that we lose our sense of humanity.
I agree with your post and its points on artificial intelligence. I also believe that artificial intelligence can be created up into the level that the film showed but they would be missing human emotion. I also agree with your notion on social media. There are not enough posts on these media sites to be able to tell a certain persons emotions and character.
