The Waldo/Trump Similarity
The effect of voting is a major part of this country. And finding the right candidate to take office is very important. Honestly I didn't care about the election and from the fact that I didn't even vote I have no right to complain. But I feel I can tell state my opinion. The candidates this year was both jokes in the sense that I feel that they wasn't taking the process that serious. I feel they should have focused more building a better America, then there own personal goals. Not saying that personal goals aren't important ,but thats not the only thin to focus on. "The Waldo Moment" from the show Black Mirror can be tied into how the election this year occurred. Mostly into the Donald Trump campaign, in the fact, that the campaign was foolish and was still making seriously by the pubic. And some of the public didn't even take the election process seriously by voting for false candidates like Hambre and Hennessy. I goes to show that it was not even worth some people time. In Waldo the people starting taking a cartoon seriously and wanted him to run knowing he wasn't going to win. Yet, he still got some votes. The votes could mean rebellion or the I don't care about politics. But, to show how the people wanted a man such as Donald Trump to be in office, a man only interested in himself. The world is in more distract then realized. Now race, gender, sexuality, etc.. planned a role in it. Some people might not trust a women to be president and not all minorities voted for Hilary Clinton. But what has happened can no longer be changed the world has made its choice and now we will have to live with it for 4 years. Personal i don't think the world will become better not for the minorities anyways, but I do feel there is going to be some drastic changes. Whether its for good or worse its the choice the people made so they have no right to complain not all but some. It is up to the people to make the right choices for the countries sake.

This year’s candidates were both jokes. I couldn't agree with you more. The presidential debates seemed to only focus on who could deliver the best clap back and, by the end of the night, a winner was deemed by social media based upon the funniest meme generated, so with that being said, people that didn't vote have just as much right to complain as those who did. We’re all apart of the same unjust system that has been corrupted for much longer than trump or clinton set out to be president.
