The Black Mirror “Be Right Back” Episode, I wouldn't have done what Martha did, which was trying this grieving mechanism that her friend signed her up for. Because as we all saw she did not let Ash go. I mean everyone has different ways of grieving when you loose a love one but I just think that it really didn't help her as it help her friend. As we saw there was different upgrades of this system and Martha did all of them and the last one was a type of machine that made it look like Ash.I personally also think that she should have let her friends and family help her because it also seem like that it was just her and no-one else helping her and when her friend called her she kinda left them alone and still went with Ash 2. We saw Martha tell Ash 2 what Ash use to be and that how he learned from there but at the end she took him to a cliff and I thought that she was going to actually make him jump and so I was thinking through that part that she actually is about move on from her past and be with her family and kid.
In my opinion I would not let anyone make another me or close family or friend that looked exactly them. In having a machine that can look like anyone you know it is cool and understanding but as the way the episode “Be Right Back” I kinda don't agree with it, it is nice to let someone grieve or have a tiny flashbacks who they use to have in their life, I still just don't agree of letting someone use it as a coping mechanism. As we saw in the Powerpoint of the Uncanny Valley, that there comes a point where an android looks to real and its not good. So I think that it was what we saw with Ash, that he looked to real and acted the way Martha told him and she never had the ability to move on.

I agree, it seems as if her grieving process was bypassed due to the fact that Ash #2 was offered as a replacement. Seems like this kind of thing could lead to some serious psychological issues.
Technology can bridge many gaps, but like I said in my post, it cannot bridge the gap as far as our notions of truth, reality, existence, and humanity itself. This episode could easily be perceived as crazy until you remember that the mourning of someone actually does influence these kinds of drastic alternatives and decision making.
