"God Blesseth America, Overlook it's Characters"

What a time to be alive; I mean that in the most facetious way possible. Needless to say, 2016 is going down as one of the most controversial times of the digital age with us being just as much to blame as social media is for everything else that goes on in the world these days. Let's face it, our presidential elect, the face of the United States of America, the leader of our so called "free world", is a glorified internet troll, but what do you expect from a campaign fueled by who had the best clap back? "The Waldo Moment" gives a cynical view of what culture has become and how the influence of social media acts as pacifiers and popularity mechanisms to those easily amused. This year's election is a prime example. It has set the foundation for the next era to come. New divides have emerged and new alignments are taking shape before our eye, but the first step in overcoming any hump in life is acceptance because once we learn to accept, we can grow. Once we've grown, we can learn to see and begin seeing things for what they really are like how everything's not going to be picture perfect because the world is unphotogenic.
