Vote Waldo

Waldo was created for fun. The only purpose of this invention was to get popularity by being funny. So, it was essential to find out the way to be funny for the most amount of people. These characteristics were mainly being aggressive, and rude in a funny way. Once people accepted Waldo as something funny, it started to get popularity on websites, TV shows, and newspapers. For me this is kind of the same during this election. At the beginning, the real purpose of one of the candidates was to get popularity and attention of the people. Waldo was able to have an influence of the decisions of people. Once this puppet got what the people who were controlling Waldo wanted, everyone was paying attention to his actions or what he was saying. Exactly the same as here.

 

The owner of Waldo realized that this funny blue figure has power over them. People started to take it seriously as someone who can represent them, and be over politics or important public representatives. Therefore, the “real” Waldo is hidden by a puppet. This is similar than in our lives because the real owner of the world is hidden by puppets every four years. Showing different puppets but the same people behind will always control this.

 

The creator of Waldo could not handle all the power that Waldo was generating, and how important it was for the people. In other words, people loved something inhuman. It is something that cannot breathe, eat, talk, or move. Somebody else is talking, and expressing by this puppet but people still loved Waldo as something important in their lives. This puppet was more important than real people. They chose something inhuman to represent them. It did not matter the incoherence that Waldo was saying, people still following its actions and words as something correct. They started to do what Waldo says, and protecting his ideas even if was the most incoherent thing ever.

It did not matter who was controlling Waldo. People just followed what Waldo was saying. Who is talking behind the puppet is not important for them. Waldo got such an important influence of power for the people that the one using Waldo would control people's actions and desires.

 

Once these people took the power of Waldo, they used it for their own purposes, which was finally controlling the world. People chose a puppet to represent them and to make important decisions instead of a real person who can really understand real life. An object that was controlled by someone was able to determine people thoughts and desires.
