Heat Guard

Heat Guard was very interesting because it focused on a topic that has been happening a lot lately with leaving children in cars unattended. I like this idea because I have seen many stories about children being left in a car for long periods of time especially on hot days. I have also witnessed small children being left in a car.

The group presented to us a car seat that would alert parents about their child or pet in the car. It also will be able to tell the temperature inside of the car. This group had a lot of advanced technology skills. They also would have face recognition to detect when there is a living being inside of the car.

If this could really help prevent children from losing their lives then this is amazing. Innocent babies have lost their lives because of careless mistakes made by their parents. This project had ideas involving technology that has not even been created yet and I thought it was very innovative that they came up with this idea. Some problems with this would probably be how would all the technology work? What if it malfunctions? These products would need a lot of testing before being put on the market.
