I appreciate this website/concept greatly, because just the other day I informed my grandparents about Dr. Sergio Canavero's plan to perform the first ever head transplant this upcoming March. They were so shocked at the thought of that, but immediately told me that it's impossible and the man wouldn't survive the surgery. However, my grandparents have not kept up with evolving technology. They are still in awe of that fact that they could video chat another family member in a different country! It's crazy to think that so many people live in a country that is progressing every single day, but have absolutely no idea what we're capable of as a human race.
My mind still can't wrap around the fact that in the next 5-10 years or so we'll have self driving cars on the road among us. So, to be updated daily, weekly, or even monthly on the professions in technology wouldn't definitely keep everyone informed and aware of what to expect in the future. Then, we as a society can decide whether or not to accept the technology before it's actually introduced to us. Because, as we've seen before, when new technology is just abruptly thrown into everyone's daily lives, people tend to reject it immediately because they don't know what to do or how to react. If they know about it ahead of time through your website, then they can at least be informed and not just ignorant.
So, I'd definitely recommend this sort of website to grandparents, parents, friends, anyone who I don't believe keeps up with this sort of news, because I personally believe it's very important. Especially when it comes to warfare, these sorts of things need to be easily accessible to the general public in one, easy to read website like yours. If there were one thing I'd suggest, it'd be to (hypothetically) make an app for everyone's phones so that those who prefer to read their news on there can just receive a notification every once in a while. Overall, I truly love the idea of this project, and it'd totally be something that I'd subscribe to in a heart beat.

I really enjoyed this presentation because of the seriousness of it and the potential effects of the advancement of technology. Each person in the group clearly explained the reason for creating the website in order for people to become aware of the technology that is being developed and how advanced it has gotten. I really liked how the group included the videos because it helped me to visually see how advanced technology has gotten to this point and honestly I have never seen anything like this because of lack of interest.
I really think that this website is a great resource for people who are not aware of the tech world now. I really think that this website clearly explains the pros and cons that comes with technology now and gives us ideas of how the world would look like if we continue to advance technology.

Let’s not mess around, Teck-Know is a fabulous idea. Now-a-days, a new type of technology is produced every day. For instance, two years ago, the idea of a self-driving car seemed like a fever dream at best. Now, we have multiple large car companies being approved by the government to test these cars on public roads and promises of fully automated driving capabilities (from more than just Tesla) on the road by 2020. That is an astounding turn around. The same can be said for military power, cell phones, laptops, anything. They even make children’s toys that can connect to Wi-Fi in order to extend their capabilities. I am not talking about iPods or something like that. I mean like doll houses and other analogue toys. What the point of that? No idea, but it sure is cool, huh? Teck-Know could grow to be an incredible resource for those who don't have regular access to the technologies of today and learn how they work. After all, technology is meant to be a way to augment how we interact with the world but if we don't know how they work, technology can also be incredibly dangerous.
When it comes down to the presentation, I am drawn to be honest. The team obviously knew what they were talking about. The idea was good and their presentation skills were of quality. But why did they need to tell us about the new technologies of today? I was under the impression that the presenting in class was supposed to show off the idea they created, not about taking a sharp detour into technologies that exist today. That knowledge is important, but it feels like they were kind of scrambling to fill up time so they switched from giving a presentation about Tech-Know to a lecture about modern day technologies. This being said, the group was very entertaining to watch and the idea of the website is solid. They did a great job all in all

I was really pleased with the Tech-Know.com idea because of the innovation that the group discussed when it comes to technology. The world that we live in today is so technologically driven and I think that it is important that we know about what is to come. This group provided much information for us all to take note of and learn. The website was enjoyable to look at because of the creative aspects.

This type of presentation came about at the perfect time because of the topics and videos we discussed in class. Recently, our world has witnessed the first robot citizen of Saudi Arabi. The name of this robot is Sophia and it is scary how "human-like" she is. Sophia is a great example of how technology would one day rule the world, and in so many ways it already has succeeded in doing so. Tech-Know.com showed us that there is still much to learn and research about technology.
