"White Bear"

A young woman by the name of Victoria wakes up in a strange house and realizes she does not remember anything. She feels a large amount of pain in the back of her head and notices she has bandages on her wrists and there is an open bottle of pills on the ground in front of her. She is surrounded by a weird image on all television screens which we figure out the image represents the tattoo on the back of her fiancés neck. She finds a picture of a young girl. We soon figure out her name is Jemima Sykes. Victoria assumes the girl in the photo is her daughter. She starts being chased by a man with a shotgun and many people around her are recording everything that is happening and no one will tell her what is going on. Victoria soon finds safety with a young woman which tries to help her "escape." As the story continues they run and try to find the "Justice Park". She and her new "friend" sneak inside and fight off the guys that are trying to kill them. She is then tricked and the stage opens with bright lights, and a applauding audience appears. She has no idea what is going on (as none of us watching did). She is reminded that her boyfriend killed the little girl (Jemima Sykes) in the photo and that Victoria had recorded all of the torturing and the burning of the dead body. Having no idea what to do or believe Victoria cries in humiliation and pain in front of the whole world. She is taken back into the van and people buy tomatoes to throw and the plastic see through of the back of the van. They take her back to the house, set everything back up, the picture of Jemima, her shoes that she stepped into, her jacket that she put on, the glass cup she drank water out of and Baxter marks off another day on the calendar. Baxter puts a device on her head and it basically wipes everything from her mind so that they can start again the next day.

They used this park to make money on criminals. To humiliate them to the world. If you looked at the calendar there were many days marked off and in the middle of the year so there is no telling how long this had been going on. For Victoria she was basically living a “Groundhog Day” except she could not remember anything. One question is, is this type of punishment justifiable? She is being recorded all over social media for people to laugh at. She does not even understand what is happening or what she did. She is being humiliated. Personally I believe this type of punishment is inhumane.

I agree with your idea that the punishment that Victoria is going through is inhumane. i feel as if there are better ways to punish criminals than this.
