Come On, Let's JOGO!

Obesity, especially childhood obesity, is a major issue that we have here in America. America is known to be one of the leading places of obesity within the community of adults and children. Obesity leads to many different issues like major health issues and it needs to be stopped or at least contained. That’s why I think the JOGO band is a great idea. Having a band that persuades children to actually work out is really wonderful. The one thing that stood out the most to me was that parents get to basically control the band. That ensures that children actually work out and not just sitting around on their games or any other technology. The JOGO band was such a great idea and it needs to be activated like yesterday. The thought that went behind this app and band is great.

I also liked that the doctor would be able to get statistics from the watch and be able to see and monitor what the child is doing as well. The fact that the band will be highly monitored by parents and by a professional doctor to ensure the health and safety of children is the best idea with this band. It also gives children and parents a chance to bond with each other more because they will be able to work out with each other. Another thing is that the band will almost feel like another game to children because they know they have to reach a certain amount of points in order to get their other games. Starting children off with this band at a young age could actually change the statistics of obesity in a tremendous way. If they start off with the band young, they will more than likely keep up with the habit of working out and staying in shape when they are older. If they continue to stay in shape when they are older, then the rate of adult obesity will change causing a drastic change in the health of Americans.  

The other part that I loved about this entire thing is the part under settings where all of your personal information can be stored, which guides the extent of everything/ exercise that has to be done. It also helps the person using the band to keep a close look at everything that they do.

Overall, I think the JOGO band is a fabulous idea. I definitely rate this band as being better than any band that’s already out in the world now.
