Hate Does Have A Color... White

White Bear

What is your definition of justice? Justice spans from a number of definition for a number of people. For some justice equals retribution or revenge, but for some it means closure. For this movie, it taught me a radical form of justice. When the little girl was taken and murdered, that was only the beginning of this twisted process. Now, this woman is taken and her form of justice that is bestowed on her is extreme. She relives everyday what she has done to this little girl, which is record her misfortune, her everyday routine is someone else's entertainment. As she explores through the park, she is going through all types of emotions including fright, confusion, and the wonder of who this beautiful little girl is on this picture. Well, she finds out the heinous thing she has done only to relive it yet another day. Why was this process someone's entertainment? Why didn't they just kill her? These questions and more were flowing through my head, but I somehow understood. These people wanted her to experience what she has  to this innocent girl, but what justice has really been served. I believe that it is unhealthy grievance because the people involved can not simply let this matter go and either kill this woman or imprison her, instead they play this sick game of cat and mouse and we all know how that turns out. Honestly there is no justice being served. This woman can not sit with what she's done, it can not haunt and therefore, its not justice, its simply retribution. In my perspective, the idea if hustice is properly handling a matter legally or giving a punishment fit for the crime and in a way it would justify it, if it weren't just for people's entertainment. Do I feel as though the people that are doing this should be justified in their doings, no. I say that because when justice is defined by an individual, it can disaterous for everyone involved. I feel as though maybe two weeks of this and expose to her what she has done only to send her to jail, and that even sounds extreme. Justice was defined by the wrong people in this instance. Another thing that would have been unique to see is would it have been carried out the exact same way or a much harsher way, if it was the person that actually did it. If the man was still alive, I don't believe this movie would be for teens. I believe he would have been physically and mentally devoured by those people. Overall, justice has a meaning and it calls for closure and thus wasn`t that. What would also make for a great plot would be if she finally caught on to what was happening as if she had a form of deja vu and how would she react. Would she try to escape? Would she kill somone? Its all intresting but overall I was shocked at rhe overall fact that they made money based on this woman's misery, it was just amazing to me. Well, I have given you my definition of justice, what is yours?
