One of the projects that I really admired was Pas$ the Buc. The idea/concept was very realistic because I can understand the struggles college students go through. If this project was to make it to the public, then it would be widely accepted. In addition, many college students would benefit from the many options the app has. The presentation was very organized and informational as well.
The feature that surprised me most about the app was buying material like shirts and hats. It almost reminds me of the app Poshmark, which is an app that you can sell gently used clothes/material to other buyers. Maybe this app and Pa$$ the Buc can partner up and actually receive profit! But, the apps are from two different backgrounds, so it wouldn't be necessary.
If I were to add or change anything to this app, I would add reviews about other colleges. Sometimes, college students aren't as comfortable at his or her current school and would like to transfer to another school. I think that this would be another great way to "Pa$$ the Buc" as some may save money transferring to a cheaper and better school. I would put this under the "SEARCH" tab so it'll be easier for students to find.
One thing that I noticed that was not directly addressed was the "FEED" tab. What exactly would be on the feed? Updates? New books? Personally, I think the feed tab should include new updates on books for classes, tutoring sessions, and more. Just like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, Pa$$ the Buc app should include recent updates on what the individual chooses to see. This would be an excellent idea because an individual wouldn't have to look high and far for books and tutoring sessions.
In conclusion, the Pa$$ the Buc app is a very great and interesting idea for struggling college students. The app would receive very great reviews if published the very next day or in a few hours. The presentation was very straightforward and was not at all confusing. Overall, there are few minor changes I would make to the app. College students: Pa$$ the Buc--- and the overflowing benefits!
