Even though I have seen White Bear before, I still fell just as uncomfortable watching it again. My discomfort begins as the episode starts, and Victoria wakes up surrounded by pills and mess. I was concerned that she was trying to kill herself and no one was around to help her. And then I was concerned that she was missing her husband and daughter because of the pictures everywhere. I was hoping that this would be a happy little adventure about her going out and finding her family but as she steps outside she discovers people with cameras, snapping away, and hunters. I did not like how the people around her were able to treat her. She was having a crisis and everyone around her just stood there and filmed her. They were able to follow her around and were chasing her and it made me think they were going to kill her. I did not know what was going on and it made me upset.
Jem appears and I believed that she was about to help Victoria. They met someone else, I do not remember his name, but it does not matter because they get him “killed!” So, I think the relationship between Victoria and Jem is going to build so they can survive but alas, I am wrong. Jem and Victoria separate, and we begin to find out the truth about Victoria.
Once they collect Victoria and place her into the weird vehicle, used to make a spectacle out of her, I was shook! I find out that Victoria is not a proud mother missing her child. Victoria is a murder filming, crazy boyfriend loving maniac! I also learned that she did not try to kill herself but was being subjected to the same thing that the little girl that they kidnapped was subjected to. But I also think that the punishment of constantly reliving her crimes is not fair. The people over her punishment are only using her to get paid because they make money off of people showing up to watch, participate in, and film her punishment. I believe they are only taking it out on her because of the mastermind behind the murder, i.e. her boyfriend, committed suicide. Yes, I believe that she is guilty of murder as well but her punishment is a little extreme because what if she dies?
Overall, this episode was disturbing and way too realistic.

I totally agree with you and I also feel like what was the point of such an extreme punishment if she didn't even know that was what was actually going on. Like y'all wiped the crime from her head she doesn't even know what she is being punished for.
I also agree that the punishment is too much. Living that same punishment every day is just too extreme. I do agree with them doing it to her once, and let her remember what she will learn her lesson.
