In the black mirror episode a lady woke up and she noticed that she had amnesia she looked around the room and noticed a picture of a young girl she left the house she starts yelling for help at the people in the windows asking them who she is and how she got here however none of them responded to her they just videoed her. As she is yelling a car drives up and a man with a mask comes out with a gun and begins shooting at her so she starts running as she starts running. The lady runs to a gas station and screams for help at another young woman who seems to be responsive the young woman yells at someone inside as she runs in with the lady following her as they evade the shooter tThe young woman starts noticing that the lady is confused and has amnesia so she stars recapping what happened to the people that the TV and phones all showed a symbol and it somehow got control of the people using phones and TV’s. after talking the woman noticed that there were still people videotaping and beings yelling at them to go away but they are soon followed by more of the scary people and they begin running getting in a car with someone they don’t know because he claims he knows somewhere safe. This turns out to be a lie because when they got there the man lead her into the forest she saw that he had been torturing people they shoot the man and escape running to the car and start driving to white bear to knock out the cell tower when they get there they are attacked by the scary people and the lady gets a hold of the gun and shoots revealing confetti and a tv studio liked thing is shown the man who was shot comes out and describes that the lady and her fiancé kidnapped and killed a girl that all the young women did was videotape. When her fiancé hung himself the judge decided the she should be sentenced to relive that day over and over. I think that this punishment is too cruel it gives people too much power. We should not have the ability to torture people even if they have killed before. They should have not been encouraging torture finding it entertaining even though what the lady did was cruel.
