Nirvana Review

The second best idea in my opinion is "Nirvana". Anxiety and depression are major epidemics in the country today. Each mental illness could have different contributors. The research behind the project was great and gave a lot of insight on how each mental illness effects and individual. Sometimes depression and anxiety can easily have an effect that causes one another. I agreed with the whole concept except I did have just a couple of arguments with some minor features. I think the design of the website was actually to quick and it might even have a negative effect on anxiety. It just moved a little too fast and the colors were a little too dull. If the group wanted to calm someone with anxiety or depression a background that is either not moving or very slow would be better. Also bright colors would help. Also I think it would be too easy too attack someone with anxiety or depression on the website due to it's very public speaking platform. Although the website would have measures to erase negative material, someone could still say something that could be really hurtful to someone else. I do think the positives of the project far out weigh the negatives though. One major positive of the website is the overall message. It helps people who are struggling in life being happy try and take off some of the stress or sadness on someone. If more people in society cared for one another then there would be less sadness and suicide. The ultimate goal of the website is to help either reduce or stop suicide completely. It is truly sad when someone takes their own life, they leave behind people that love them. If this website were to help save at least one life then I think that is a major step. This idea is great, and if actually created, could help humanity.
