Group 1- Group Sync

Group one’s presentation overall was great. The presentation was very interactive and fun. The class seemed very focus of what the group was presenting. At the beginning of the presentation, I didn’t understand how they were going with talking about groups but as the presentation went on, I started to understand. The name of the website is very relevant to the group’s topic. It’s also an easy name that people can remember say when they are looking for the website. The visuals for the website and the PowerPoint were nice. The website seemed easy to navigate and straight to the point. The information that they presented was accurate especially when they name the different type of people in the groups. I agree with Dr. J when she suggested that the website should have the personality quizzes that was given in class or quizzes like that one for people to take and see what type of personality they have.
I think the idea of Group Sync is good. It would be nice to have this when you don’t know anyone in a class and you must work in a group especially for people like me, who doesn’t talk much in class. It would be good to just go on a website or app like this and search for group members. It would be easy to find the right people for your group without worrying about some not showing up or not doing any work. You would just have the people you know will work well with you.
I really liked the video that they showed. It was funny and relevant. There is always that one person who does not do anything but still gets credit for the work like the video showed. I was in this group for my English class and we had this guy who only showed up the first day and we never saw him again until the day of the presentation. However, he did his part of the work. I also enjoyed the personality quiz that they gave us to see if we were introverts or extroverts. It got the class to participate and keep engaged.
The group members seem to be prepared and knew what they were talking about. They had good eye contact with the class. Their voices were clear and easy to understand. They did not read straight from the PowerPoint. Everyone in the group said something and didn’t let only one person do all the talking. They answered all the questions that the class asked them very well.

I agree completely with your blog. I did enjoy the humor that was going on in the presentation. It really did set the bar up in our class.
