Sorry, not sorry

In the first episode of Catfish, Nev was the victim. Nev was the very first person who was catfished on his own show. It all started with fascinating paintings from a little girl name Abby. Nev would take various pictures across the nation and send them to Abby for her to paint. Sooner or later, Abby sent the painting to Nev and it boomed. From selling her paintings for thousands of dollars to her work being showcased around museums. The paintings continued to get better and better but Nev was never able to meet her, talk to her, or even write to her, nevertheless he would only talk to her mother.  Nev then became suspicious and started to friend request her immediate family on facebook. Abby’s mother, Abby’s sister, Abby’s brother, and Abby’s dad. As Nev continued to follow up on all of her family’s post, and her paintings, he then became attracted to Abby’s older sister, Megan. Nev then consistently began texting her older sister who she claimed to be a model and singer. They texted day and night and sometimes on the phone. Furthermore, Nev needed to take a business trip to the town where the family stayed, luckily he didn’t tell her too soon. Nev and the crew went to the barn where megan said she was staying and was nowhere to be found, even the mail was there. During the next day Nev showed up to the house where the family was supposed to be having a family breakfast, which never happened. As Nev showed up no one was there except for the mother, father, and two handicapped children. Long story short, Angela, Abby’s mom played the role of every individual, controlled everyone’s fake facebook accounts, and was Meagan all along. Not only did she fool Nev, but she also was cheating on her husband, lied about having cancer, and brought her daughter into her lie when she didn’t know about any of it. Abby was always unable to answer Nev’s clear questions pertaining to her painting skills. Angela felt the need to do what she was doing because that was her only way out. She expected Nev to feel sorry for her and everything she had on her plate. Unfortunately, her husband had no clue about what was going on in Angela’s text messages, he believed Nev was just a faithful customer to Anglea, which of course he wasn’t.  Personally, I don’t feel sorry about the situation with Angela and what she went through because she took it to another level that it shouldn’t have been taken to. No adult should ever lie about a deadly sickness, nor bring your child into your lies.
