Boycott Connect Evaluation

Boycott Connect is a great solution to help end immoral actions that are happening around the world. I think that this is an important topic that needs to be addressed and stopped as soon as possible. This idea allows for people to understand and realize what is going on. As the Power Point stated, many people are unaware of the things that are taking place due to certain companies. This idea focuses on many different global issues that can be caused by big businesses trying to gain profit. If this website were to come into effect, I believe that it will be able to make a huge difference in the world. The Power Point provided a great amount of background information and helped to set up the presentation of the website; yet, there were no statistics within the Power Point. I am not as educated on the subject of immoral actions, but I'm sure that you can find some through each of the individual issue that was stated. The statistics will help add some real mathematical facts to the idea, and create a bigger emphasis on the people to have them realize the issues. For example, maybe stating the statistics of child labor would be good to have within the Power Point. So many people have no idea what their favorite companies are doing behind the scenes, and knowing the knowledge about the problems is the best way to stop it. The website provided actual instances that have been brought about by major businesses. Continuing through the website, the mission is stated for user to understand what the purpose is with creating this problem solver. After checking out the website, there are a few things that I would like to address. The website is an amazing idea, but the website itself is lacking in its features. The website gives a lot of good information and purpose, but the part of taking action does not seem to be on the website. If the website were to have a link on 'how to help' or 'taking action' then the functions of the idea would be complete. It just seems that the website focused mainly on providing the information, instead of putting it into action. This seems to be the only big flaw within Boycott Connect and the website that features it. Putting this idea into action and following it up will help make this idea a great one.
