The Morcal App was a very creative, innovative and powerful
app in my opinion.
It is an application where you are able to share your moral
views or problems without getting judged.
You can basically get help about problems you are going through in life,
or you can help other people with their problems if you wish. Some of the problems we face in this world
are related to suicide, bullying, health, religion, discrimination, sexual
assault, sexism, abortion, and gun control and there are infinite numbers of
problems that we are going through in this world. The app works by you telling the app some
things you are interested about and it finds a website that will most meet your
interests. Although there could be some
flaws to it like for example it may give you wrong information or information
about things you do not care or wish to read about.
I think it is a great app because people do not just want to
share their views with anyone, sometimes they are embarrassed or scared and do
not want anyone judging them but this app will not make them feel that
way. It is sad that the world needs
things like this to keep them going, we are being judged by anything and almost
everything we do in life. It is very
hard to trust people because a lot of them post everything on media making it
hard to keep a secret. Some people want
to seem invisible to the world but at the same time they want their voices to
be heard and what other better app than this.
Thee group presented the background and research material
and application very well; their hard work that was put in the project was very
noticeable. I was very confused when it
came to using Siri, they explained how you would ask it a question for a
quicker response but it calculated a list of solution or options. If it is a so-called Mora Calculator should
it not give you just a single answer, but instead it gives you a lot. In a way it would be a good thing because if
it only gave you a single answer you would probably not like it and therefore
you can pick your own. Other than that
the group was very intelligent to have come up with that in a short period of
time and I think they did very well!
