Memory and White Bear

“White Bear” was a shocker because of the oppression that the woman had to go through. Not remembering who she was goes to show that you can seem to have your life pretty normal and in pretty much a normal routine, but in the grand scheme of things not everything is what it seems.  Nothing is certain about what the intentions were of the lady’s friend or the man who tried to hurt both of them.  It seemed to be that the man's intentions were good at the beginning with him being friendly, but he had weapons in his bag.   When the lady and her friend got to a place where they were having to run away from him, he started to threaten to cut them in half. The friend got away and tried to rescue her but failed. The man called his friends to say that they should come too so that they can get started. He told her that he was going to kill her if she continued to cry?  What else was she supposed to do?  Pretend like the man wasn't trying to hurt or kill her? There were certain some ramifications and take aways from this film.  What would happen if the man had been the victim? Would he have felt the same pain?  What if the nameless woman had been the perpetrator? There were certain points of the film that I found disturbing particularly when everyone was chanting and cheering because the lady who didn't know her name was suffering. They were trying as hard as they could to make sure her suffering was prolonged and ongoing. Her fiancé was killed because they believe that he had put her in danger. The nameless woman had several outbursts and had undergone more pressure than imaginable. Her horror continued to live on.
