Bucca-NEAR-U

First off, I want to congratulate this team for their win at the voting today.

Second, I just want to say that you guys gave everyone a really high standard being the first group to present last week. There are so many thing that I really liked about this project. I really enjoy the idea that this app is something that is in fact, very beneficial to our community at CBU and also very possible. Your project was really well put together and you showcased how this could benefit our youth. Your app is simple, and effective. It's not too flashy, and everything is directly where you need it because as you mentioned, in an emergency, especially when you're in the midst of a freak out the last thing you want to do is to have to go through loads of drop down boxes or different features just to get help.

This app is a good idea to bring onto college campus because there are so many crimes that do go unreported or that aren't handled because police are too late. Sometimes, the situations can be a matter of life and death and a few minutes may be a few too late. I love the fact that it is on campus. Like we were told at orientation, you can get anywhere on campus in five minutes, so even if you were at the LLC, campus security could be where they are needed in a matter of minutes to resolve any conflict or crime that is going on. I know you guys mentioned the fact that it is different from the safety buttons on different campuses, such as UoM and I definitely thing it's much more convenient, especially when you're indoors and are unsure as to where the nearest exit or "safety button" is located.

I also really enjoyed the fact that you included Mrs. Sadie's number because you are right, after a traumatic experience, sometimes all you need is someone to talk to so that was a nice addition. After the class discussion, I noticed that you guys added an 'anonymous' button and that is also very helpful because there are many times where people refuse to ask for help because they feel they too might get in trouble or humiliated or even in more danger for going to get help, an example being hazing. That feature was a very nice touch.

Finally, I did really enjoy the artwork on the app itself, it was pretty rad. I enjoyed how it's especially for our school. It's amazing. Great job you guys! :)
