SafeSip Thoughts:

SafeSip is a microfluidic DNA & chemical testing system that calculates the compositional breakdown of any liquid. It detects chemical substances and bacteria, as well as harmful metals such as lead, arsenic, etc.  Overall, I really like the idea behind this device. I feel as though it would be very beneficial to society because exposure to these kinds contaminants [sometimes found in public and private drinking water] are causing numbers of health problems, ranging from nausea and stomach pain to developmental problems and cancer. I, also, favor the idea that it acts as a date rape prevention tool as well because these days you can’t put anything pass anyone. The group illustrated this perfectly, in my opinion.
