Crossing Borders Closing Gaps/PrepMe Thoughts

I thought that CBCG/PrepMe was a great idea. Education is a big part of the world, and everyone does deserve an equal chance to get one. The goal of this project was to let everyone be able to get an education no matter where you live. Many undeveloped countries do not have the proper access to education, can not get there for a certain amount of hours, and many live in poverty. Creating the app PrepMe was a great idea because you will be able to access any level that you are on, and even where you stopped at. There will even be a way for teachers to see what you did, including those who could not make it to school. PrepMe also benefits those students, because when you miss days you fall behind. PrepMe overall gives the student a chance to work independently; it is easy to access without needing help from a parent. In addition, there were three more steps in the plan, which I loved. The movement is the second step, and that is just to raise awareness about CBCG. The third step was partnering with the government and different organizations. Lastly, there was the tablet. The tablet will be used for the undeveloped countries, and they wouldn't need wifi to access it. Not needing wifi is also a god idea, because most things always require wifi, and everyone doesn't  has it. There are students in school who only has computer availability at school to complete assignments, and the tablet eliminates that problem. The tablet will be solar panel and it will not be touch screen, which saves a lot of money. Also, it will include basic life skills. Moreover, when it comes to education, it can be kind of tricky of what exactly to include for certain subjects. The only thing about PrepMe to figure out, is the gathering of information that we cannot agree on. A lot of people have their own opinions of how things happened when it comes to certain things. The education system has its own curriculum of what should be taught, but there are many versions of everything. I don't know much about the education system, but I agree with one of the responses given by a group member of CBCG. The idea was to maybe incorporate everyone's idea or viewpoint from each state, and the student can then create their opinion about it. That it the only fair way as of now to try to make a solution for that.
