Homeless Project Evaluation

The Homeless project would be a very good program if implemented correctly. This program is supposed to give the homeless a place to stay. Not only is it offering a place for the homeless to lay their head, this program is offering stability. This program helps homeless people get jobs and gain skills necessary to be ready for a job. This program encourages the homeless not to steal because they'll have everything they need. They'll also have this stability continuously. This program, generally, only lasts a month, which is something that should be changed given the statistics, but even when the program ends, the homeless will still have a place to stay, whether it's at another shelter or a home that they've been able to get because of the resources provided and this homeless shelter. The shelter also has contact info and an app to inform people about this program. They also offer tablets or iPads for homeless people to use to take the entry survey. The survey is also a little general and doesn't ask all the right questions.

This program can only bring positivity to homeless people's lives. This program can be extra beneficial to homeless adults with children. This program allows homeless children to be zoned to a school. It allows homeless adults to have a permanent address for job applications. It also provides consistent meals.

This program's questions are informative enough. Bus passes should be added to the program. The program should also have jobs ready for the homeless people when they get there. The survey should ask questions about the homeless people and their interests. It should also ask more personal questions if they want to be informed if they are criminals or drug addicts. Bus passes will enhance the program by allowing the homeless people to have transportation to and from these jobs that are being provided. The group also mentioned that they'd be in accordance with churches and soup kitchens that offer meals. The program should join with companies to have jobs ready when the homeless people get ready to make their transition easier.

Overall, the presentation was okay. The group didn't seem very cohesive. The group also wasn't as prepared to answer questions as they should have been, but they answered the unexpected questions very well. The group also read from the slides more than they should have. They had more than enough research for their idea. If this idea went through, it would truly make a difference.
