Save a Kid

I really enjoyed learning about this project. This project was really well detailed and had a nice presentation to present it with. This is a much needed problem that needs to be fixed. Parents can't constantly keep an eye on their children, especially if they are really busy. Sometimes they are just really forgetful. If this was implemented beforehand, maybe crimes like kidnapping, disappearance, or overall accidents wouldn't happen. This would make everyone happier: the parents who don't have to worry about where their children are at the time, the children who don't have to go through the trauma of what may have happened to them, and the police and healthcare officials who don't want to go through the pain and frustration of having to look into a missing children's case or a case of a dead child due to neglect.

Some suggestions I do have is different feet limits. For example, the default could be the ones for things like cars, but I do think there should be ones for things like feet limits for playing outside. Kids probably travel farther when they are in the neighborhood playing with the neighborhood kids. Maybe if the parents can set up a default for the neighborhood, it would be much easier for the parents to keep track of their children. Also, I think that there should be other devices like a hair, jewelry accessory or clothing. If someone took a hold of you child, a bracelet is more noticeable. Nobody really notices a hair pin or an earring in a child's ear or hair. That makes the person who wishes to harm the child unable to detect that somebody is on to them and do something drastic to the child. Furthermore, this makes the material less expensive because there isn't a lot of things that go into the product.

I don't really have any complaints. I may have been a little wary about calling the police on the parents with such short a time limit, but I understand why the time limit is so small. I also was a little wary of the price. If you have one child, 50 dollars doesn't seem a lot, but what about parents with 3+ children. That's 150+ dollars. Parents who are in poverty may not be able to pay that much money up front. However, that's barely an issue to me because the price is worth safety of your child(ren).
