Stick with CBU (Cohesion CBU Review)

The CBU Cohesion project is designed to keep the students of Christian Brothers University connected with each other and events going on around campus. As a commuter, I find it very challenging to be involved because most of the time I have no idea what events are even going on. My email is often spammed with event information hours after the event is ended, and by that time it is way too late. There are often tons of flyers hanging around the campus, but I am usually too busy to even stop and read them. I believe this app would be extremely beneficial to students similar to me. This app also has a social media aspect, where you can communicate with others and make new friends because sometimes it is easier to make friends online first and then meet in person. As a shy introvert, I would also find that feature very helpful. This app includes a calendar with current events with needed information such as date, time, and location of the event and whether there is a cost and how much it is. The social feature is called "The Wall" where one can make posts and engage in new friendships with other CBU students. There are many categories within the wall like class info, course help, teacher info, advice for many topics, and even a shopping/food category. Furthermore, there is a store section where one can buy or sell any used books, school supplies, campus apparel, and more. Also, opportunities to carpool and spend time with fellow students is encouraged. They also provide information about sports games like game scores and videos, school news, and a professor directory. Additionally, the techne for this project is called the C-board. This is a large touchscreen board that provides a map of the CBU campus and weather information. This board would be located at convenient spots throughout the campus.
Overall, I really think this is a great idea and a much needed app in order to keep CBU students connected and it would greatly benefit busy commuters like me who have no idea what is going on most of the time. I would definitely download this app. Great job!
