Save A Kid Review

It's a good time to remind ourselves about the dangers of children being left in parked cars – and also to examine what causes and what can possibly prevent these tragedies. Each year about 37 babies and toddlers die when they are accidentally left strapped in car safety seats or become trapped in vehicles that rapidly heat up. If you think this senseless tragedy couldn't happen to you, think again. Even the best of parents or caregivers can unknowingly leave a sleeping baby in a car, and the end result can be injury or even death.
The Save A Kid organization is an amazing idea. Children often wander off or simply get forgotten in vehicles all the time. They're project helps parents not to forget them, this is something we need and that should be created. Young children depend on adults for everything, and when one gets left alone in the car they don't know right from wrong. Parents and caregivers need to be educated and learn tips such as leaving their purse in the back seat of the car that way they'll be able to see the child before getting out the car. Another tip would be putting their child behind the passenger's seat that way it will be easier to see them.
This is a huge problem in today's society, many kids are going missing or dying because of careless mistakes such as forgetting a child in the back of a hot car. I really loved the idea of the bracelet and the device that attaches to the car seat. The fact that an alarm will go off whenever the parent was too far away from the kid is a brilliant idea. Also, the bracelet also serves as a GPS and voice recorder, where it would allow a parent to know their child's exact location and hear everything that's around them. Both, the bracelet and the car seat device were linked to your phone, and that is a very helpful thing. My only concern was, what if their phone died, then how would they get notified of the child being left in a car? Other than that everything was perfect, and their project was well presented. Also, props to this group for being the first to present and were very organized and ready. Overall, their presentation was very interesting and I think that this is a great idea and someone should really make this project work.
