Behind the Screen

All I can say is Angela lives a very sad and depressing life and she tries to escape from it by playing other people's lives online. What makes this so bad is that you can not play with other people's lives. You can not involve someone in something without their consent. Angela truly hurt Nev by creating this romantic relationship with this young and beautiful model/dancer and not being her. Nev did not get what he expected and his heart was broken. My heart breaks for both Nev and Angela. But more for Angela because she lives a sad life. She is a mediocre artist who takes care of two handicap sons with a husband who seems to not truly respect or appreciate what Angela has given up for him and their family. Angela plays these different people so she could see what she is missing out on by not leaving her home. She plays a game of what if through Facebook and stealing people's identities and personalities. I think Angela should consider leaving  her husband and the boys. She should go and try some of things she wish she did. If she can not do that maybe take a vacation just to escape for a while. Not escape online and negatively effect other people. She is using reality to entertain her fantasies and those two can not coexist. They are opposites.
On a different note, Vince's analogy with the catfish in the world is kind of brilliant. He is justifying the people in the world who have to hustle to survive. And I guess that is what Angela is doing just trying to survive. I do not appreciate or recommend others to do it but some kind of have to do what you got to do to just float. I have always wondered why the tv show was called Catfish and now it makes sense now.  In this imperfect world, we live in there needs to be those who make everyone seem better and make them a little tougher.
I feel sorry for Angela's little girl, Abby because she has an unfortunate family to grow up in. Also her mom is lying to other people about her. No, parent should ever involve their children in something so sketchy and skeevish. It is an adult's decision to be one of those people. Now that child will grow up with weird morals and ethics.
This family is messed up and looks like there is no turning back.

I agree with you totally when you say Angela has a sad life. She has so many responsibilities to tend to at home, and she just needed to free her mind from it all. She was in fact wrong for playing with Nev's emotions like she did. I think she just wanted to have a friend who was not apart of her world and wanted something to look forward too each day. However, things were taken too far, and I know she wouldn't have liked it if someone did her like that.
