After watching the movie, I've learned that some people don't deserve friends. Yaniv began to talk to a person online. Soon after, he was talking to about 20 people through the internet, and they all turned out to be one person.
I think that everything Nev went through was completely unfair to him, even if Angela felt like she was trapped and wasn't able to and live the life that she wanted. Angela knew what she was doing, and she knew that it would eventually come to an end, so why would she continue to lie every time Nev wanted to know the truth? I believe that everyone chooses what they want their life to be like at some point. When Angela married Vince, she knew what she was getting herself into. Also, it's not like Vince is forcing her to stay. No one is. I'm not sure if Abby came into the picture before or after Vince and Angela got married, but either way, she could branch off on her own and have Abby spend some days with her, and some days with Vince. Abby seems neutral about everything anyway. Therefore, I think that Angela had no reason to lie about everything repeatedly. What really made me think that she doesn't deserve friends is the fact that she lied about having cancer, she had a very weird and uncomfortable virtual affair with Nev, and she involved her daughter in a big lie to make herself feel good. That's extremely selfish to me. No matter what, no one should have a reason to lie like that about their identity, and when you're caught in your lie, you shouldn't make even bigger lies to cover those up. Just come clean and deal with what you did.
I think that Nev shouldn't have remained friends with Angela. Even though her life is pretty sad, she used that as an excuse to continue to lie and hurt Nev, and if she lies about any and everything, then why be her friend? I don't want a friend who lies to me every time I ask him/her a question. Usually, after lying about their identity one time on the series, people come clean, but Angela didn't tell the honest truth until the complete end, and who knows, she may have lied about something else after that. I just think that it's extremely hard to trust people who lie all the time, so I don't think she needs and friends.

I have mixed feelings about whether Nev should have stayed friends with Angela. I agree with your position that even though she has a sad life, it does not give her the excuse to lie about everything. Also, I think that it was terrible that she did not even tell him the complete truth the first time. On the other hand, I feel like she would not have done the Catfishing in the first place if she had more meaningful relationships in her life. I think she needs friends, but I think she is not currently acting like someone most people would want to be friends with.
I disagree with this. Angela went too far and should work on herself. At the same time however, she does deserve friends. Just because she did bad stuff doesn't make her bad, she's just in a bad situation. And if she had friends she could work out these issues.
I think it is really hard to trust people who are constantly lying to you. She had plenty of chances to come clean and I think she should have the first chance she got, but some people just can't. Some people are just compulsive liars and do it every chance they get and there's probably even more things she lied about which we still don't even know about. Her life is sad, but I don't think that justifies everything she did to Nev.
I agree her Angela's life is sad but she should have come clean. Great point, some people do not deserve friends. And I think Angela needs friends but not Nev she ruined that.
I agree that lying about your identity in a situation such as this is unjustifiable. Angela did not come clean about everything and continued to lie when Nev confronted her, which was unfair to Nev. She is not someone who Nev should trust to be apart his life.
