Catfishing

In class we viewed a movie about catfishing. In the film Angela, passes as someone else leading even leading Nev to a fake relationship. I know that Angela performed this act in order to try to live a life that she wished to have lived. Creating multiple unauthentic facebook accounts in order to live a false life. I don't think she expected Nev to make a decision of going out to visit. Angela seemed that she totally regret her actions but personally I have no sympathy for her. She tricked Nev into believing multiple lies that she told over the course of many months. Nev even began to fall in love with her "daughter," Megan. We later realize that Angela was passing as Megan and was actually in love with Nev. No matter the reasoning for her actions, no one should have to go through that trouble. Especially having to suffer from a relationship that was never a relationship to begin with.
