Forced Sympathy

We cannot force sympathy on certain situations and make that be the problem to why certain people mess up. I just do not understand why people do things like catfishing, and I found out that Angela did an interview later on stating that she has several personalities disorder, which was also A LIE! A pathological liar! A shame! I felt bad for Nev because he felt for the girl that Angela made. Angela made up fifteen different accounts just so that everything can seem "normal" or "natural". She is a habitual liar; however, everyone knows that when you lie you have to keep lying in order for it to be believable, but if she was a real woman she would have came clean about the whole thing. Angela, who is not pictured correctly, is a painter. Abby is not the painter and maybe she was ashamed of her art because her paintings are exceptional for a twelve year to have paint them. A lot of people think what is the harm because she has two sons with disabilities that need twenty four hours worth of care. There are many different ways to take a break from reality or a rountine lifestyle. She could have got interested in virtual reality, she could have painted on her own in her spare time while advertising the paintings as her own, or she could have just made friends. When we first met Angela and found out she had children with disabilities everyone forced sympathy on her and brushed off the fact that she created fifteen accounts, sexted with Nev, talked to Nev as Megan and lied about Abby painting. Had we not known she had sons with disabilities people's initial reaction would be to shame and feel disgusted.

I feel like that is what is wrong with America today. We are so quick to find sad situations in a person's life so we can say, "Oh, Billy only shot up a school because he was a foster kid". Now, it is sad that Billy was in a foster home, but Billy was fully aware of what he was doing and so was Angela. She chose to keep going on with these lies and build a initimate relationship with Nev as "Megan". She knew that once Nev came to her door the act was over, but she CONTINUED TO LIE! She confessed that she made up Megan, but she said that she was a real person in a rehabilitation center.
