The question that some people would find themselves asking after watching such an episode would be, was something like this justified. The young girl was guilty of something unimaginable to a young child but was the punishment fair enough. Great thinkers like John Locke believed that the punishment that is brought down upon someone should be worthy of the crime committed. I myself believe that what was done to the young woman was further than anything needed to be done. If I was to make a judgement on it, I would’ve had the event take place on the anniversary of the girl’s death, or something like that. There was no need for it to go as far as it did.

What To Do About White Bear
Once again, the writers of Netflix’s Black Mirror have delivered an episode that makes you wonder about the world we are headed to. In the latest episode, we were shown a woman wake up with no memory about who she is. She had no idea what her name was, where she was, or why she was even there. The only thing that she could see where that people were watching and taking pictures of her. She saw a picture of a young girl that she would believe is her young daughter, of whom has unknown origin. The story of this woman would only grow crazier from this point. She would become enthralled in a game of life of death. People that she believed were unaffected by what made other people become watchers were chasing her through the streets of a town she had no idea what to think of. She soon would see things that would make any person cringe. She saw people being tortured, killed, and much more. She was even placed in a situation in which she thought she had to kill to escape her pursuers. It was only to be revealed that this was all some kind of game that was being played with her life. You find out that she actually had a hand in the murder of a young girl, and this was her punishment. The worst part was that it was being done for an insanely long period of time. She would then continue this extremely cruel and unusual punishment.

I agree on your viewpoint pertaining to how the situation should've been handled. Maybe I'm old fashion, but I just feel as if the woman was found, she should've just been sent straight to jail. Why did there have to be a show about it? The situation itself already was sad, why did they have to make it a show for amusement? Send the girl straight to jail, I'm sure the parents thought they were doing too much also.
