The film of Catfish , started to bring out how deceiving someone is around . The film gave the action its official name and begin to be caught more often. In this documentary the creator of the hit Tv show "CatFish" , showed us how he experienced the act of being catfished and how it can emotionally and physically affect you. Nev the one who got catfished was angry about the fact that she went through all this to create lies . I find castfishing very wrong, because you are stealing someone identity which is illegal. Everyone who participate in cat fishing should seek help because I believe something is wrong with them and they just need someone to talk to.Even though some people catfish others out of spit , say for instance if they was once getting bullied , from my experience from watching the show.
Technology in today's society makes it easy for someone to pretray theirselves as another person.
It is simple to find a picture on the internet and act as if it's you to indulge into someone else life. The act of being someone else is totally wrong. You should always be yourself no matter how you feel about your image. A person might actually accept you . For a person to make up lies just so, they can have someone to take to is wrong in many ways. In Angela case she lied about having cancer which is a serious thing . Cancer is a big deal and for her to lie about a thing such as that shows me that she has a few issues. If she was honest with Nev from the start , him seeming like a nice person would of still supported her with her paintings.
On another hand. Catfishing is dangerous to me because once you actually meet that person there is no telling if the person is crazy and trying to harm you . By watching the show a few times I have noticed all type of reason people catfish but it still do not make it the right thing to do. On one episode a family member catfished another family member for calling her fat which is to acceptable, knowing that he really fell in love. She could have talked it out since they are family.
But to end it Catfishing is something that should not be around, trying to be someone you mot is not a good idea. You should always be yourself no matter what.

I agree with your views on Angela and how she betrayed Nev. I also think it was wrong for her to lie that she had cancer and lie about her image and her family. Do you think you would have reacted to the situation in the same way that Nev did? If not, how would you have reacted differently?
