OFF's Final Project Review

The Final group presentation, OFFS which consisted of helping those kid's or young adults who are part of the Foster Care system. It was a great thought due to the fact that as humans we tend to look for ourselves before we look at the needs of those around us. Either in the community, our friends, etc If we are doing good most likely we think almost everyone is doing good. Not taking a look at stats of the current population where some of them are in jail, foster care, homeless, hungry, or even without the ability to attend college.
Although the thought of bringing the aspect of our broken Foster Care System was really good perhaps the aspect of approaching this system a little differently would increase the possibility of launching the project. Perhaps if those that were creating the project where 5 or more people who were billionaires and they wanted to invest their money in a great cause it would be great. The negative aspect is the possibility towards scholarships, as well as running different aspects such as the mac lab, snacks, printing services which are included in the mac lab, career closet etc. Taking a look at the scholarship portion it takes a lot of money to provide students with a scholarship to attend school. Not only to pay for tuition but they will also need funds to pay for their books and find a way through transportation. Making the project seem merely possible to achieve while cutting down to perhaps no scholarships. In addition the mac lab will take a lot of money from buying the computers, installing anti-virus software, as well as having funds to replace broken computers, ink, and paper for the printer. They are things that possibly we do not take a look at but these things will be needed. As well as paying for the electricity of the facility taking in consideration that the mentors and other workers there are donating their time as volunteers. Possibly taking a better look at the amenities of the facility and decreasing it.
In addition, future feedback perhaps changing the videos perspective due to the different statistics that were displayed in each video. Perhaps taking a look at the source of  both statistics that the YouTube videos displayed. Also, maybe creating a document which demonstrated the building since it did distract many students while the drawing of the building was being drawn in class while the presentation was going on. Great Job thinking on the broken Foster Care System.
