Should I feel sympathetic? There were different factors that come in to play to determine whether or not I should feel sympathetic towards Angela. First, Angela was sending Nev paintings saying that her daughter Abby had painted them. At the end, we saw that it was a harsh and cruel lie. Abby had not painted any of the art and was coached along the way to say that she did. This was the first of many steps of deception towards Nev from Angela. Next, Angela posed as her “daughter” Megan, and got Nev to fall in love with her. This was a lie. There was no Megan. Once Nev began to piece together the lie, Angela tried to divert him by claiming to have cancer. These are a few, but they are enough to show that Angela does not get any sympathy from me whatsoever. She was given the opportunity to confess the entire truth but she continued to lie. She kept attempting to apologize to Nev for the things she had done but I don’t feel how much she damaged him. She seemed to see it all as a joke, a game she was playing to make her life interesting. I do not  think she understands that what she did affects many people around her. She has an online relationship for months and she’s married. I can not fathom how her husband was even remotely okay with this going on. It is not like she had a crush on The Rock or Chris Brown, people she would never have a chance with. This was a real person who she had spoken to for months. She had an affair! But considering everything she had done I began to question her ability to reason. Does she honestly know she was doing wrong? Or was she just being apologetic because she got caught? Those are things to take into consideration. Do I feel sorry for her? NO! Simply because I do not feel she was genuinely apologetic to Nev in the end. Considering the fact that she still lied. She does not have cancer. And she does not have a daughter named Megan. And she does not even know the young lady whose photos she had been stealing. Nev was hurt but he was resourceful he started a series where he help others to know the truth. Because not everyone is who they claim to be. And no one including Nev deserves to be lied to.
