Angela is the One to Blame.
In the film "Catfish," the story is about this women that pretends to be in a life that is not the same as her original one. Nev had fallen in love with someone that he thought was being as real as he was. On the way to Michigan, Nev had asked for an original song from Meghan but then found out that she sent the song in 20 minutes and it was not by her. Nev then realized that maybe he has been lied to this whole time. Nev and his friends finally get to Michigan, they decide to go to Meghan's house to see if that is where she truly lives. When they pull up to look at the mail, none of the mail is in her name. Meghan had told Nev that she lives on a farm with horse and that night that he arrived at the house that she would be staying in the barn since one of her horses were having a baby. Nev got to the barn at the house to look inside and found no horses inside the barn. The next day Nev and his friends decided to go to Abby's house to surprise her. Abby is the girl that Nev had been buying paintings from. When they arrive at Abby's house, Angela, Abby's mother starts making excuses of why the other siblings are not at the house. The group finally connects the dots that Angela has been playing the Meghan role this whole time. So Nev had really fallen in love with Angela. Angela finally comes clean with everything that she has done to Nev. She is married to a husband that does not really care for her and the husband has two handicapped sons that Angela is having to care for 24/7. Angela wanted to be an artist and a dancer but when she got married and had a child that was out of the question. So I believe that Angela was trying to escape the life that she was living and trying to form a new life with Meghan. I think Angela is wrong for what she had done to Nev because Nev was so truthful to her during the whole process and Nev ended up falling in love with Meghan.

I agree that Angela is completely at fault if she had wanted to become a dancer like she said she should have worked for it she should have not gotten pregnant she should have been more responsible with her life and more disciplined if she truly wanted to make her dreams come true so she has no right to complain about what she got and should not just be going and screwing with other peoples lives to make herself feel better.
I agree with you. I think Angela let her feelings get the best of her. If she wasn't happy in her current environment she should have found another way to fix it instead of going behind her family's back to make herself happy. This happiness was there for her, only for a short time, but everyone else was lied to.
Although her situation was complicated, I agree that there is no doubt she is at fault. Nev was truthful and open with her and she defied his trust by doing what she did. I understand she was in a confused state, or even unstable, but this is no excuse to hurt someone else in the process.
I do feel sympathy for Angela but at the same time she had multiple chances to tell the truth and didn't. And then she lied about having cancer. So it's like you try to give Angela a break and look at her life as a whole but that doesn't excuse the fact that lied to other people instead of changing herself for the better.
