SafeSip & bucca-NEAR-u

After looking at these two projects, I believe that our society can benefit from both SafeSip and bucca-NEAR-u. They both gave valid points about what has recently been happening in not only our country, but also other countries as well. I believe that SafeSip was a good invention because there has been many cases where men and women have experienced date rape and SafeSip can make these men and women aware of what could be in their drinks before they decide to consume it. I’m sure that if these invention were to actually be put out for other people to buy it, the rate of date rapes could drastically decrease. Because I am a germaphobe, SafeSip would be something that I would invest in because I am always cautious with everything that I consume. Even though Memphis has been known to be one of the top cities with the cleanest water, I still have some of my concerns with what companies might do with the bottles that they are putting the water in. I’ve notice from my research and observations that some water have low pH levels which means that the water is somewhat contaminated. This could not possibly be safe and that is why I would not mind spending my money on this invention. I would like to know that what I am putting into my body is safe. Bucca-NEAR-u was also a good idea, but it would be better if you did not have to use so much time. In an emergency situation, you are not going to have enough time to think about everything that might have happened. As it has been stated before, it would be a little difficult to control what people would do with the app as far as them making false reports so I think that something in that area should be improved. I suggest that you should use the phone numbers of the phone that you received the information from. That way, you would know who is registered under that phone number and you would know who made the false report. As far as the other information that was given for this invention, I believe that it would be very useful for people. Crime rates on campuses would probably be more minimal, even though it is basically already that way. Both of these inventions could help with the different issues that have been going on in recent years.
