What happened to Yaniv was completely unacceptable. There is no reason he should have gone through all of those identities just to find out that none of them were actually real. Angela felt that she had no way out of her situation, and was dealing with her own personal insecurities. However, lying about who she was, making up 10 or more identities in the process, was not okay. What she did not understand was that doing what she did could have really gotten someone hurt. Every fake identity you make is a real person you risk putting out there against that person’s will. Angela stooped even lower when put a child in the spotlight of her lies. Until the very end, everything she did and said was just lie stacked on others she already told. Even she was called out on her deception, she still continued to lie; all for the sake of making herself feel better. People like Angela are reason it is so hard to trust people online. She acted as if she was checkmated when in reality, she always had other options. That is to say that no one was making her do what she did. As a matter of fact, Yaniv probably would have easily accepted Angela for who she was minus all the fake identities. Instead, she chose repeatedly to be selfish and put others at the front of her lies, so that she would feel good.
What I got from it all was that catfishing is wrong because it make trusting people online difficult.
