I would first like to start off by saying, "JUSTICE WAS SERVED." Now, there are many things I disagreed with in the film "White Bear," but overall, the punishment was JUST...to an extent. Of course like many of you, I sympathized with her at the beginning before the truth came to light. She does seem vulnerable because she has no memory of anything. All I could think about was helping her retrieve her memory so she would no longer be lost and helpless. Black Mirror does a great job building this character into the liking of the audience. But as soon as her true identity was revealed, and I learned what she had done, I immediately thought that she did not get what she deserved. The reason being, she was an accomplice to not only abduction, but murder and then setting the little girl on FIRE. She filmed everything, so they filmed her, but what about the fire? What human being with a piece of heart would do that?! She took a little girl from her mother. Let's remember what the mother went through as a woman just by having this little girl. There were nine months, God knows how many hours of labor, sickness, body shaping, etc... And for this WOMAN to take her away from another WOMAN is just terrible!
The part where the questions rise is whether or not doing this every day is just or not. I honestly can not say how many times is enough, but I can say that erasing her memory and starting over again and again is really doing too much. Maybe watching her defend for her life once is enough. Instead of erasing her memory at the end, and starting over, let her memories marinate and throw her in a jail cell and let time pass her by. Besides, it's only so much a person can take. I will always wonder why they didn't think to do this experiment with her fiancé: the man who actually did the dirty work. I mean, I can understand why it was important to do it to Victoria because she did stand by and film it instead of helping the little girl. Now she knows how it feels to be in a predicament where she is scared for her life and have people watching her instead of helping her. I think everyone can sympathize with someone suffering until he or she learns the reason behind the suffering.💋

I agree with this. It was very unjust for these people to continue torturing her like this. But sometimes being unjust is necessary. And by the way, they didn't do it to the guy because he killed himself. So in a way they're going doubly hard on her to make up for it.
I agree that for the process to even make sense it should have only been completed once and then she should have been sentenced to jail. Otherwise, the process is pointless because the actual Victoria will never remember the pain and suffering she caused Jemima.
The "justice" depicted in the episode was nothing more than an excuse to profit off someone's suffering. Victoria can't even learn from her crime because her memory is wiped every day. This example of "Justice" is nothing more than inhumane treatment.
