Justice? For Who?

In the episode called "White Bear, it was made to believe that everything was happening for the first time. However, at the very end, basically during the credits, we learned that this same exact day has been lived by the woman for 18 days straight. Why? Because she was found guilty for recording the torturing and death of a little girl. Everyday this woman will have to endure the exact same thing she did to the little girl, and at the end of the day her memory is erased of everything. The class was asked a question about if they felt bad for this woman or not, and mostly everyone said that they felt bad in the beginning for her. However, I personally never felt bad for the woman. I felt that the woman was being inconsiderate and selfish the entire time. It was also brought up about was the experiment seeking justice. I don't believe that justice is being obtained. The whole time while the woman is going through this day filled with torture she had no idea why. I feel that they should start the day with telling her that because you did this crime you will murdered. After that, make her think that she has gotten away into society and no one is willing to help her. This way, she will be thinking about the crime she committed the entire day she's running for life. I see no purpose in telling her why she's being punished and then a short time later you erase her memory of it. Although the thought of this form of punishment is bizarre, I can see this actually being a reality. With everything going on in society, its only a matter of time before a higher level of punishment is brought up. Also, if this method of punishment brings revenue to the United States, then that could definitely be a plus for those who agree with the idea. If this does happen, Of course there are going to be people opposed. I, however, do not know exactly how I'd feel about the new punishment. That's one of those things that you have to deal with if it comes around.

I think that if this were to come to the United States really soon, it would be enacted immediately because Trump is all about money and revenue.
